Who is CT?
CT is a high school baseball athlete who found Dr. Kam after hurting his elbow.

Where was CT before working with you?
CT came in as a high school pitcher struggling with both elbow and shoulder pain. He’d already seen a therapist and wasn’t getting worse—but he also wasn’t improving. His velo was stuck in the low 70s, and his mechanics weren’t setting him up for long-term success.

How did CT find you, and what made him choose to work with you?
We got connected because his family heard about the success we’ve had with other pitchers in the area. After one evaluation, we saw a clear opportunity—his lack of hip-shoulder separation was robbing him of power and placing strain on his arm.

What did you immediately identify and fix?
We tackled his throwing mechanics and worked to improve sequencing from the ground up. Hip-shoulder separation became a core focus. We designed a progression that blended strength work, mobility, and mechanical drills to get him rotating more efficiently and aggressively.

What were some big wins you saw in the program?
Over the course of a few months, CT completely transformed. He went from tentative and stiff to explosive and smooth. His delivery cleaned up, his arm pain resolved, and most noticeably—he jumped from the low 70s to the mid 80s in velocity. He became a different pitcher, mentally and physically.

What are some before & after results?
Before: pain, poor sequencing, low 70s velocity
After: pain-free, efficient movement, sitting mid 80s, topping 87-88

What would you say to a parent or athlete considering working with you?
If you’re stuck in that space where the pain is gone but the performance hasn’t come back—this is the missing piece. Don’t guess your way through it. We combine biomechanics, PT, and individualized training to get you back on the field better than before.
